National Champion Joins LionHeart/Former Player's New Enterprise

It seems like just days ago that Phil Davis, the Penn State wrestler, won the NCAA National Championship, capping an amazing career where he was a four-time All-American. The big news we promised in the post announcing LionHeart Mixed Martial Arts is that Phil signed on with Chad Dubin's LionHeart team to begin his career as a professional fighter. Here is the video from last week's press conference:

Phil isn't one to take a vacation, his first MMA bout took place in Atlantic City Saturday Night (he won 41 seconds into round 1). Good luck to a great champion and friend of the Blue Line.

Speaking of the Blue Line, a photo in yesterday's CDT sports section showed Coach Paterno about to lead the team out of the tunnel. Right behind the Coach is #29, former Lion defensive back Paul Cronin. I mention it because Paul is a founder of Blue Line Images, a new start-up that developed technology to convert digital photos of youth sports participants into professional-looking designs. Simply go to his website, www.bluelineimages.com, upload a favorite photo from your digital camera and select a design. Be sure to check the gallery to see images made for Penn State l
